This year, the Brazos Valley Council of Governments is designated as the lead agency for the 2012 Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program. The VITA sites have been community-based since 2008, and the purpose of these sites is to help low- to moderate-income families have their taxes prepared for free.
