Texas Foster Youth “Aging Out” Guide

The Texas Foster Youth Justice Project has a guide designed to answer some of the questions you may be facing as you “age out” of Texas Foster Care. This is a great resource not only for Foster Youth, but also for advocates, family, and friends to better understand the process.

The guide addresses several of the top areas of concern including, but not limited to, Your Rights in Foster Care, Getting Ready to Live on Your Own, Education, Employment, Healthcare and Public Benefits, Identification Documents, and Managing Your Money & Banking.

To access the newly updated guide online, Click Here and the guide will open in a new page.

For more information on the Texas Foster Youth Justice Project, feel free to visit them online at http://texasfosteryouth.org/.
