The Center for Community Health Development conducted the Greater Brazos Valley Health Status Assessment in May 2016. This region includes the counties of Austin, Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Leon, Madison, Robertson, and Washington.

The full report discusses population characteristics, mortality rates and factors, health status and healthcare resources, risk factors, housing issues, violent crimes, and much more. The results are broken down by county, region, state, and country for a better understanding of what our region looks like when compared to similar studies.
