This session will assist you with learning why goal setting is vital to growth in every area of your life, understand how to set goals that excite and inspire you, and obtain powerful strategies for achieving your goals.

Job Readiness Essential Skills
This class assists with professionalism, teamwork, critical thinking, and verbal communication are essential skills for all professionals to have in the workplace. This session will prepare you to be successful in any professional setting by building the core skills that employers value most by teaching students to communicate effectively, think critically, collaborate well with others, and demonstrate personal accountability.D

Resume Writing
This session will teach the participant not just what a resume should look like, but what it should say. It walks you step-by-step through the creation of the most common sections found on resumes in today’s job market. In addition to helping the participant determine what information should be included, it also goes a step further to help you realize what pitfalls to avoid when creating this powerful, job-searching tool.

Job Search Stress Management
This session will assist with how job searching can often be a stressful process. By taking key steps you can better manage and implement your next job search. Learn about common job search myths and best practices for managing stress during a job.

Mastering the Virtual Interview
This session will assist with how to make a good impression in a virtual job interview by being prepared in advance, showing up on time, how to dress professionally, even remotely, staying focused and visibly engaged, and remembering to stay responsive after you wave goodbye.

Business and Email Etiquette
Address the importance of understanding readers. Review such email conventions as effective subject lines, professional greetings, and readable formatting. Discuss common errors in written English and how to avoid them.

Social Networking
This session will assist the participants with how to use dedicated websites and applications to interact with other users or to find people with similar interests to themselves, and how to choose the right platform to promote their interests and skill set.G

This session will assist with increasing your knowledge of navigating the Metrix
Learning system to obtain industry-approved online courses, and practice tests to
enhance existing or learn new skills.

Work In Texas
This session will assist with increasing your knowledge of navigating Work in Texas and
enhance to your resume and job opportunities.
